Alldebrid: Works “Okay” Until You Need Support — Then It’s a Damn Trainwreck
Works okay until you need support: months fine, then my APIs died and Alldebrid replied with copy-paste crap, missing “authorization” emails, then ghosted me. A friend got banned for asking questions. Use anything else.
If I had to recommend a streaming/debrid service, I’d say literally anything except Alldebrid.
It’s not that the system is outright broken — it’s kinda functional, meh at best, and I’d even keep it as a backup option. But the moment you need their technical support, it all goes to shit.
I paid for a full year. No issues for months. Then around month eight, my APIs just stopped working — and that’s when I had to deal with support.
First: they take forever to reply.
Then: when they finally do, it’s some copy-pasted, canned bullshit that doesn’t solve anything.
According to them, everything was supposedly an “authorization/login issue” — you know, that damn email you’re supposed to receive and approve to allow the login.
Cool. Except: where the hell are those emails?
I asked support multiple times, trying to get actual help. Their replies were dry, borderline dismissive — and to make it worse, even when I repeated the question clearly, they just copied and pasted the same wrong response back at me like they didn’t even read a word.
So I asked them to change my email. Still no login authorization messages. Then I asked them to approve it on their side. And after that?
They just stopped replying.
And this isn’t even a one-off. I’ve already seen this pattern before: a friend — the guy who originally recommended Alldebrid to me — had issues too. Once he pushed back and asked questions, they basically went: “fuck you” and banned his account.
Their support is garbage. They act like they’re doing you some massive favor. They sound pissed off that you dared to contact them. And they clearly hate anyone who needs help.
So yeah — my recommendation stands:
Pick anything else. Just don’t use Alldebrid.
