About Pablo

Pablo Murad

Hey,

My name is Pablo Murad, born on August 12, 1987, in the small town of Soledade de Minas, nestled in the south of Minas Gerais, Brazil. From a young age, my curiosity about electronics and chemistry shaped my passion for understanding how things work.

As a child, I spent countless hours playing with science kits, mixing chemical compounds, or dismantling every device I could get my hands on—only to realize I had no clue how to put them back together, leaving behind a trail of electronic wreckage.

Born to a cook and a teacher, my parents divorced when I was very young. In 1996, despite financial struggles, my mother gifted me my first computer, a present that changed my life forever.

By 1998, I was already programming in Delphi. At the time, the internet in Brazil was a luxury, and anyone with a U.S. Robotics modem was considered royalty, boasting an impressive 56kbps connection.

In the early 2000s, around age 12, I ventured into Unix-based systems, developing a deep appreciation for Slackware, an OS that I could only get my hands on by subscribing to tech magazines that included CDs with updates.

In 2001, I fell in love with Python—a language that, back then, was relatively obscure but had immense potential. I began studying it diligently, following its evolution closely.

In 2005, I enrolled in Unifenas to study law, successfully graduating in 2010 with strong final grades. During these years, I found myself somewhat distanced from technology.

I lived in Russia for a year, where I became fluent in Russian (having already spoken English since childhood).

However, in 2011, I felt the pull of technology once more and ultimately decided to abandon my legal career. My passion for Python reignited, and I have been dedicated to it ever since.

In 2015, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Theoretical and Clinical Psychoanalysis, though I left it unfinished just months before completion. My fascination shifted towards human behavior and its relationship with machines, delving into the concept of the machine-man.
